World Hearing Day, 3 March 2021, marks the launch of the World Report on Hearing, presenting a global call for action to address hearing loss and ear diseases across the life course. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), around 466 million people worldwide had disabling hearing loss in March 2020, 34 million of these being children.
